Sorry about the lack of updates about but i have been real busy. Cleared the pokerstove bonus so got $125 but still have $50 on the UB bonus to go, taking ages. I didnt do very well on UB so i only have $207 in my account now. Gonna move it somewhere else but havent decided where yet.

The new home's full of nits

Sorry about the lack of an update recently but i havent been playing much NL 10. Due to UB being mainly American the time difference sucks if your a European so i end up playing with all the afternoon nits. One of the micro guys on 2+2 told me that it clear alot quicker playing 6max so i am playing Nl 2 6 max, which is really painful but the bonus is clearing qucik enough.

I have $80 left to clear and $130 in my account so my aim to reach $200 with bonus and profit is looking on. I am struggling with it though, i really dont enjoy it. I am just auto-piloting my way through it at the moment.

Just gonna keep grind it through and hope too be done with i by the end of this month.

Home sweet home...

So i have made the switch too Ultimate bet to avail of Poker sources' free money offer. Here's a link, it's an affiliate link which if you sign up through it gets me extra money so..

Poker Source

So far so good, UB bet softwate is good, the fact i need too use gametime+ to grab hand histories is annoying though. I have played about 400 hands(only have 200 logged on PT though) and so far i am up 4 buy-ins which is great. I was a bit fearful of playing NL 10 with just the 10 buy-ins. If i dropped a few at first it could of been a struggle. If i get it over $170 before i hit a downswing i'll be very happy. Anyway here's two of the bigs hands i played tonight.

The first there isnt much too it. Bascially all you need to do is flop middle set, hope opponent has bottom set and the other donk has played his Ace's like an idiot.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: HTML)

MP1 ($8.64)

MP2 ($3.42)

CO ($14.20)

Button ($10.25)

Hero ($16.18)

BB ($10)

UTG ($9.85)

UTG+1 ($4.26)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4h, 4c.

UTG+1 calls $0.10, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.50) Qd, 3c, 4s (6 players)

SB bets $0.35, BB calls $0.35, UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises to $1.9, MP2 folds, Hero calls $1.55, BB calls $1.55.

Mp1 is a clown who c/r me before then led out on the turn so i decide to flat call his raise and CRAI on turn.

Turn: ($6.20) Ts (4 players)

Hero checks, BB bets $3, MP1 raises too $6.64, SB raises too $14.18, BB calls $5.

As soon as BB lead out i got an erection, and then when donk shoves i came in my pants. I knew i was ahead and only a bad river card would do me.

River: ($18.20) Kc (4 players)

Final Pot: $185.20

Results in white below:

Hero has 4h 4c (three of a kind, fours).

BB has 3d 3s (three of a kind, threes).

MP1 has Ad Ah (one pair, aces).

Outcome: Hero wins $15.20.

Ship IT!!!!!

The next hand isnt enjoyable. Lost a stack with Ace to some knobs deuces. I was busy on another table going up against a guy with 170bb's compared to my 240bb's so i was pretty distracted.

I should of put UTG all in with my 3bet, or i should of just shoved. The flop shove is standard i think.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: HTML)

BB ($7.08)

UTG ($3.11)

UTG+1 ($7.63)

MP1 ($5.46)

Hero ($21.72)

CO ($20.12)

Button ($5.43)

SB ($9.55)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Ac, Ad.

UTG raises to $0.55, 2 folds, MPB raises to $1.8, 2 folds, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold, UTG calls $1.25.

Flop: ($5.50) 8d, 2h, 7d (3 players)

SB checks, UTG bets $1.31 (All-In), MPB raises to $9.43, SB calls $7.75 (All-In).

Turn: ($22.31) 7h (3 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($22.31) 5h (3 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $23.99

Results in white below:

UTG has Jc Jh (two pair, jacks and sevens).
SB shows a pair of 2's.

Hero has Ac Ad (two pair, aces and sevens).

SB has 2d 2c (full house, twos full of sevens).

Outcome: SB wins $22.31. Hero wins $1.68.

This was pretty much the last hand of my session which was very annoying too lose but i had a great day overall so cant complain. Clear $5 of my bonus too, gonna try work out tomorrow roughly how long it will take too clear, i've got two months which should be definitly do able but the quicker i get off UB the better, something i dont like about it..

FlopTurnRiver sucks.

Moving on..

In an attempt too get my bank over $100 i decided to venture over to the $0.50/1 limit omahahaahah tables too give it a whirl. I ended up doing rather well and with the able of a 2nd place in a 50 man $3 tourney the bank is now at $120.

So i have decided to bonus whore with my mighty roll. Poker source online seems to be the best place to do it with there "free money" offers so i will have too see which is the easiest to clear at micro's. I dont want to be stuck on one site for too long, specially not UB.

September has been a bit meh so far, lost a buy-in at NL 10. Here's the hand:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 10 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $10.00

I think i should of folded too the shove. Early though i raised 56s UTG, 3 callers, and then a LP shortstacker shoves for $2, Villan ^ shoved all in for $11 and flipped over AJs so i thought he seemed a bit lose and felt two pair could be good.

NL 5 i am up 2 buy-ins though. But it's been very up and down, i seem to start a session well then finish but losing a few stacks which is very frustrating.

Hero had J Q (a straight Eight to Queen) and WON (+$5.37)

Hand pretty much played itself i feel. Raising pre-flop was an opition but when it's not suited i am play it more passivly. After the hand i was pondering my turn shove. Big blind took a long time too decide too fold so i thought maybe a raise to $3 would of been better too get him to call but i think i played it right and that's just results getting in the way.

Villan in the hand is one of the reg's i play with, i dont know if he's good or just very lucky. I have 1.2k hands n him and his stats are 52/6/0.4 but he's up over 7 buy-ins, he just be lucky. When he bet out the turn i knew he had something, i thought maybe the lower straight or just a flush draw.

This hand is always one that catches me out while i am playing it. While i have been more agressive in my game i tend too freeze up sometimes and play hands far too passively.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.02/$0.04 Blinds - 10 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $2.07

Hero (BB): $5.00

UTG: $10.47

UTG+1: $2.19

UTG+2: $5.29

MP1: $14.29

MP2: $2.07

MP3: $5.06

CO: $5.74

BTN: $6.01

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8 T (10 Players)

3 folds, MP1 raises to $0.12, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.12, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.08

Flop: ($0.38) 9 4 7 (3 Players)

Hero checks, MP1 bets $0.12, MP3 folds, Hero calls $0.12

Turn: ($0.62) 9 4 7 Q (2 Players)

Hero checks, MP1 bets $0.12, Hero calls $0.12

River: ($0.86) 9 4 7 Q J (2 Players)

Hero checks, MP1 checks

Pot Size: $0.86 ($0.04 Rake)

MP1 had K A (high card Ace) and LOST (-$0.36)

Hero had 8 T (a straight Eight to Queen) and WON (+$0.46)

I flopped at monster draw but didnt know what too do being OOP. I think a c/r on the flop would of definitly been the way too go, but when i get called and the turn comes and doesnt help me i never know if i should lead out or check. Then there is the various situations which i could end up in on the turn that i dont really know how too deal with so i end playing passively so i am not left with a tough decision too make.

Alot of this comes from my lack of knowledge of pot odds and %'s of winning. Definitly something i need too work on.

Bye August!

Best poker month ever for me so far. I ran super hot which was a huge help, so was moving to Party Poker, Donksville. Here's my end of month graph.

I 3k break even stretch happened as soon as my roll went over $200, for some reason as soon i break that figure i stay there and cant seem too move past it. Had to take out a far chunk of my role starting this month with $80, which is shit.

Here's my PT stats for the month(click on it to see it better obviously):

I am getting more agressive which is definitly helping my game. I am never sure how agressive to get pre-flop though, one thing i am struggling at. But apart from that i am happy with vost of my other stats. I'd like pr-flop raise % to get a bit closer to 12% if possible.

I dont rally have any goals for this month, but if possible i'd like to get my current roll up to about $160.
