March Goals

Time too step up the game and put some serious effort into fixing it. There's a few areas i have found where I need too look at. My biggest problem is playing hands out of position. My VPIP from the big bling is 18% which seems far too high, especially when my Won $ WSF is 29%. Considering the next lowest is 39%(form the small blind) this is definitly a big leak for me and the first one I hope too sort out. I'd like too get my BB VPIP down too about 15 by the end of March. I also hope too up my pre-flop agression. I should be 3-betting alot more in position instead of just flat calling behind.

I am going too breakdown my win rate for various hands, like Suited Connects, pairs, uSC's etc.

Off Suited Connectors:
Hands: 2,600
VPIP: 19%
Pf-R: 14%
BB/Hand: 0.09

Suited Connectors:
Hands : 869
VPIP: 70%
PF-R: 44%
BB/hand: 0.27

Pairs:
Hands: 1,392
VPIP: 91%
Pf-R: 73%
BB/Hand: 0.78

March Goals:
- Cut down on the amount of pots I enter from the Big bling
- Dont play as many SC's like 34 and 45 from MP.
- Try too Ioslate players when i am in the c/o or button
- 10k hands

February Results

That time of the month, and unfortunatly it hasnt been a great month in the cash side of things. I finish the month up a poxy two buy-ins which sucks alot of dick.

Current Level:
NL 20
Hands: 22,704
Profit(loss): $174.23(From + $311.23)
FPP: 9,133.25(37,500)
Rakeback earned: $102
Total Profit: $276.23

Anyway, here's how my Feb goals went...

Feb goals:
- 10k hands -- Yes
- put money on stars and start playing $4 180 mans(final table 1 aswell) - yes/no
- Finish HoH vol I-- No

I played 10k hands in total. 6k on nl 20, 1k at nl50 and about 3k at donkaments on starts. I put $40 on stars(which is now up too $410) put i didnt play any 4/180. It was mainly 3/45 or 6/45. But my results have been excellent, winning both and getting multiple top 3 finishes.

This month has definitly opened my eye too my cash play, i just am not good enough it seems. I am far too loose and the swingy nature of my play seems too suggest I wont be a very profitable player at this level so I have decided it's time for an overhaul. I am going too outline my March goals in another post.

I've had better weekends.

So a bit has happened since my last update. I decided too take some shots at NL 50 since my roll wasnt too bad, woopsy. I lost 4 buy-ins in 1k hands. I was playing one table of NL 50 and and 3 of nl 20, unfortunatly i lost 5 uy-ins at nl 20 aswell. So since thursday i have lost $272 dollars, Holla.

Obviously this has been pretty diastourous for my roll. I have now decided i wont be taking shoots at NL 50 until i am fully rolled. Depite the run at nl 20 the last few days i am still running at 4 bb/100 for the month. I havent played a huge amount of FR really though. Since Carlos give an extra 50% extra FPP when you are first to join a table I have been doing that and playing alot of short hand. It's has gone quite well but I should stick with full tables as that is what i am tryin too learn. So its back too basics for me from now on.

Hands:

Lol. Villan was a complete nit, but Hud hadnt loaded yet as he sat down. I'm still a station

Live pokeraments

Not only did I start my journey on NL 50 i also played my first ever live cash game in a casino and got raped in the process, it was great fun though. Lost €400 which was quite alot though and something i wont be doing again. I will definitly be doing the live thing again ut i will just stick too toruneys so i wont be able too reload and stack off then.

I was playing pot limit 1/2 with a 5 straddle and bought in for $100 4 times, lol. In my defense i was buckled when i was playing. Arrived at 4am or so, left at 11 the next morning with bus fare in my pocket.

My imagine would of been very nitty but the standard of play was shockingly bad. If i could afford it i would be there every week. I didnt get many good hands but did win a few pots and had a very up and down session. Due to a very large quantity of alcomahol my memory isnt the best but heres a few of the hands.

I lost the first €200 in the first hour by just being dwindled down and end up shoving with some bottom pair on a flop, cant even remember the details tbh.

Hand 1:
I have €100 odd.
me UTG with 7's, raise too €15
3 callers potted around
flop(€70) 357
I lead out for 30, fold to button who raises, i ship.
Turn 9
river 3

He flopped a straight and i take it down

Over the next 3 hours i manage too drop down too €100 odd in various medium sized pots, nothing majorly big just from c-bets that didnt work, or being out kicked etc.

Hand 2:

Stack €100 odd.

Me on button with KTs

5 way
flop(€45 odd)
Ad 6s 9s
Mp 1(guy i rivered in hand) bets €20, c/o calls i call. rest fold.
turn is a brick
checked on through
River (€105) As. Mp1 checks, CO bets 60, i shove my €120 odd, mp1 folds co calls and declares flush. I win

for the next 2 hours i dipped too 200.

Hand 4:
me UTg with AKo
raise too €15, 2 callers Villan from hand 1 re-pops it too €70, i hum and haw for a while and decide to shove, he calls.
Board is all low cards, i think i am done and ask him if he has a pair, he says no and flips over AJ i win about €450 odd. Should of left at this point really.

Again i drop €200 odd.

Hand 5:
J9s utg(stack €250 or so, both villans have over double what i have) - i raise €15, 3 callers
Flop(€55)Ks2xTs
BB leads for €30, i call, villan from hands 1 again calls
Turn(€140) Qx
BB bets €60 or so, i shove, Villan re-raises, BB goes into tank and folds.
River 9x

Villan turns over Qj for the split, i lol. After that i said i wasnt going until i was up or went broke, i went broke over the nextcouple of hours.

Still had alot of fun though. Look forward too the next time when i am alot better rolled.

Up, up and away!!!

Bank roll hit $800 this weekend so i have decided to start taking shots at nl 50. Down $10 after 400 hands. I havent been playing well as i should be up $40. I have been starting up my own tables to earn an extra 50% FPP so my stats are a skewed a bit.

Two biggest pots i have played so far. Havent noticed a huge difference in play, then again I only have weekend play too go by which is very poor. Going to start data-mining nl 50 now aswell to give myself a bit of an advantae.
