Hmmm stressful month. Signed up for 2+2 team challenge as Capt so I spent the month grinding 25nl, ugh vomit. Ship the first prize though. But christ I'm never doing this again.
[] redline skills
So I'm pretty much skipping and taking 100nl shoots everytime I hit $2k, dropped up and down about 4 times so far, cock. Still gonna stick at it for a bit longer and I might up my shot taking limit to 25 buy-ins if I can't crack it in the next week or so.

*****June Results******
Bit late on this. Here's my graph for June:
Mostly 20NL with some 50Nl thrown in. Winrate @ 20nl was only 5.65BB/100 over 10k hands. Played well enough though and I've been tilting a lot less as well which is great. For July I'm going back to FR for a month to do a team challenge on 2+2, gonna post a full update tomorrow, 31k hands in already though!

14/06/09: A tale of Two sites
So I've been mainly playing Ipoker but I like a switch every now again cos quite frankly Ipoker software is pretty poor and annoying. So I got a $50 bonus for party(whoop whoop baller) so I decided to give that go at NL 25 and a bit at NL 50, epic fail.
I found the games alot more agressive then the nit passive fest Ipoker is. Even NL25 on party is more aggressive then Ipoker $50nl. Alot of 3betting and c/r on the flop. I lost 2 buy-ins at NL 50 and then 8 at NL 25, alot of spew involved which I haven't done for awhile so I was a bit disappointed with that. I cleared the bonus and was going to keep plugging away until I went to broke even but I pulled that plug on that when I got to 5 buy-ins down and proceeded to lose another 3 in about 5 minutes.
So I thought that was enough of my vacation from Ipoker and it's nice 50% rakeback so I went back to Ipoker this evening which went brilliant, obviously rewarding me for my coming back I finished up 6 buy-ins today despite getting running K's into Aces twice against 2 giant nits.

Update: 04/06/09 Better late then never
So I haven't played much in the last two month's but I have been getting back into it again and back at NL $50 6max. 2k hands in so far this month and up 3 buy-ins running at 31/26/3.6 which is alot looser then I usually am.
Some hands so far.
Hand 1:
Villan was 18/13/1.4 over 253 hands, however I didnt remeber him so it was either old or datamined.

3 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold
Flop: ($3.50) 9 4 3 (2 players)
SB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50
Probaly a bad call but I have a GS, backdoor flush draw and a back door OESD so I decided to peel. I never respect people who donk and usually raise them but with his nitty stats I didnt want to get blown away.
Turn: ($8.50) 6 (2 players)
SB bets $6.75, Hero raises to $18, SB raises to $53.38, Hero calls $30.41 all in
Never good when the card you need is the one that completes the flush. Still I have to raise here and once he shoves over me I can't fold although I wasn't hugely happy but there's enough sets/two pair in his range to make it standard.
River: ($105.32) A (2 players - 1 is all in)
Final Pot: $105.32
SB shows 9 T
Hero wins $102.32
SB wins $4.97
(Rake: $-1.97)
eh, I didn't expect him to turn over that from his stats.
Hand 2:
I posted this on boards looking for some help. I was fairly lost on the flop, pretty annoying spot. The general consesus was a fold which is probaly right, I think JT is a call. but J9 is just to vunerable.

Hand 3:
I hate this kind of spots where I don't know if my hand is strong enough for a raise and I can't really raise fold either. Villan was unknown. Looking back I should really raise I think to $25 or so. I've made to river calls with the best hand where I should of raised and I have to really get over my nittiness.

Ugh 100k Challenge epic failaments
Friday, March 6, 2009
20k hand mark
Not much to say, graph says it all. Gonna spend a bit of time deciding if I'm going to go on with this. I seemed to be getting back on track until today, A's vs K's all in on K high flop, set of T's all in on turn vs K's, King on the river. c-bet top set on J42 brd, turn 3, get crai all in by A5. Ship it. Spewed/titled off about another $50 from making stupid calls on the river in 7 or 8 different pots.

12k hands in, Story so far!
sdkfjdlfkjdfglfjgpgapoaspoif! sums it up really. The one thing that's good aobut this challenge is that it will give a good test of how I can handle tilt, going okay so far.
Been going over all the major hands I have lost and there's only a few I am unsure of how I played them.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 39.484% 39.48% 00.00% 7427 0.00 { AhKh }
Hand 1: 60.516% 60.52% 00.00% 11383 0.00 { QQ-JJ, 55, QJs, Th9h, QJo }
I need 40% equity to make it a profitbale 3bet shove here, with fold equity and the chance of him having worse I should of got it in. But when I run bad I tend to start playing more passively and tighten up. He had QJo

Hand 2:
I was pretty tilted when this hand came so it was a bit of a disaster. A hands ago it was folded to me in the SB and I raised with Q9s, the same villan in this hand 3bet and then I made a small 4bet and folded to his shove, ugh.
I need 2/1 to make it a call so he needs to shove AQo+ to make it profitable. He was 19/17/3 with a 3bet % of 6 over 350 hands but it hard to say what he's going to shove over my 4bet.
